Nice, good update...

Well hello there! It's been quite a while since I last updated, and I figured now was a good time to do it...So I'm going to run briefly over all the new things in our life! Most of these pictures are on Mitchell's facebook, so I'm not gonna go picture crazy with this one.

We moved in September in to a nice HOUSE! :D We pay $150 more a month, but the house is sooo nice! It' still only two bedroom, but the kitchen is gigantic and there are two living rooms and it was just renovated right before we moved in. So while the house is somewhere around 120 years old, it looks like a 10 year old house. Also, there's an apple tree in the backyard and a very large grassy backyard! While the apple season is coming to a close, we have made lots of apple pies and it's been a lot of fun! And a nice little bonus:the landlords are great!:)

-Mitchell got a new job! He works at the Academic Support Center at the college as program coordinator. He loves his job and is really enjoying his time there. My school schedule and his work schedule has worked out really well so that we don't have to take Eventide to day care or a babysitter.

-We sold/gave away all of our puppies! We were able to sell 3 of them and we were planning on keeping one of them (Max) because he is so smart and dang cute. But when we moved in to the house, our lease said we could only have one dog. Also, Mitchell didn't have the time to train him and I didn't have the patience. A friend of Mitchell's offered to take him and he's went to a good home! Yay!

-School and Eventide are keeping me pretty busy! I am only taking 3 classes, but they are pretty work-intensive. Two of my classes are sociology classes. I'm not enjoying them as much though I am learning A LOT! My favorite class is and education class, Early Learning Concepts. I am having a blast in that class and I actually love the homework! Must be a sign that I'm heading in the right direction with my career and schooling! the best news of all is that this is my LAST QUARTER! WOOHOO!!!

-Halloween has come and gone...Eventide was a little pumpkin (a REALLY cute little pumpkin!) I was the game Twister, and Mitchell was a DisneyWorld tourist...:D
Trying on the costume:

Harvest Tours/Trick-or-Treat at EWU:

Trunk or Treat with Jessica's (Mitchell's sister) family (though it was actually trick-or-treating in the church hallways instead of at the cars):

Eventide carried that bucket the WHOLE time. Cutest little pumpkin ever!

For your viewing pleasure, here's some cute and fun pictures of Eventide and what she's been up to these days:

She loves putting blankets on her head...

One of her favorite toys. She rides it all around the house and hides little "treasures" in the seat compartment:

Last but not least, I am a little over 4 months pregnant (19 weeks)and I've been feeling the baby kick since about 15 weeks. I'm not sick anymore though I still feel pretty icky when I'm really hungry...so I do my best not to get to that point. :) I can feel the baby move more and more every day, and I LOVE it! We had our first ultrasound today...and we are having a GIRL!!! A very active girl at that! Her name is going to be Memory Cameron. Memory after this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EeCMLRvIGQ&ob=av2n and Cameron is form Mitchell's middle name. :D With Eventide's ultrasound, we had difficulties getting her to move, with Memory's, she would not stop moving! The first thing I saw in the ultrasound was her heart (the ultrasound tech said she has a beautiful heart!) and then her little arms and hands waving around. Most of the ultrasound pictures are a little blurry because Memory would barely settle long enough for the ultrasound tech to take them. It was so stinkin' cute and it probably didn't help with my giggling. I sure love this little girl!

Face shot:

Her little feet-The big white blob/spot next to what is obviously her foot is actually her other foot. She was rubbing her little feet together. CUTE!:

This is Memory's profile shot, but she was too busy movin' and groovin' to stay still for it. :D:

Belly picture coming soon!

Things and people I miss

-My family.
-Friends (who don't live around here).
-Mom's cooking. Specifically her bread, rolls, scones, foil dinner, potato salad and probably some other delicious things that I can't think of.
-Dad's cooking. Specifically swiss steak, enchiladas, dutch oven cooking, peach cobbler, guac, and also probably some other delicious things that I can't think of.
-Cafe Rio
-Panera Bread's chicken salad sandwich
-Fausto's spicy/hot carrot slices
-Coldstones and The Golden Spoon
-Not being nauseous.
-Disneyland
-Huntington Beach
-A duller sense of smell. Pregnancy has...sharpened it a bit.
-This sweet little lady whenever we are apart:

I miss a lot of things and a lot of those things are food. I've got food on the brain...haha.

Our beautiful little daughter

Playing with cousins

Mitchell's brother Monty and his family are visiting and staying at Mitchell's parents for a little bit before they head to Korea for about 4 years. And then his brother Preston and his wife, Michelle, visited for a few days as well, so we have had a fun time with all the family and cousins around. We've had a lot of barbecues and I believe there's going to be another one tomorrow. So we've had lots of opportunities to visit with everyone and we've had a great time! Here are a couple of pictures I took of some Forest's and Monty's kids being silly.

Buddy's new trick

Lex and Tristan striking a pose:

Buddy & Elaine-I love how Buddy kinda just snuck in to the picture.

Little Hannah

Eventide and Hannah playing. They were looking out the window together and it was so cute I tried to get a picture, but by the time I got the camera out, Eventide was distracted by the lamp on the table...

mmmm Carrots...

Poor little girl was so tired and did not appreciate me trying to feed her. :(

mmmmm Peanut butter

Sickedy sick sick

I'm actually not doing so bad in the "morning" sickness department. I feel sick when I'm hungry and so far I haven't been sick enough to throw up (except when I smelled Eventide's banana baby food this morning...but I quickly gulped down some water and was a-okay). I think this is super wonderful for being half way through the first trimester and not throwing up! It's kind of a mellow nausea, which is WAY better then the last pregnancy with Eventide in which I was throwing up 3-4 (sometimes 5) times a day. So I'm a happy camper! Of course, it may intensify any time now, but I'm going to be optimistic that it won't! Please, please, please!

Other symptoms...Occasional food aversion, but not so bad this time around (I can still eat eggs and pizza and spaghetti!) I'm tired, oh man, am I tired. I'm still breastfeeding Eventide (though I am weaning her and plan to be finished by the time school starts) and breastfeeding and being pregnant has wiped me out! I'm 6 1/2 weeks along and did you know (according to What to Expect When You're Expecting) that by week 7, my baby is 10,000 times bigger now than at conception! Nine months seems like such a long way away, but it's so amazing how fast babies grow! Reading about how the baby develops each week, I'm amazed that it all happens in only 9 months.

Anyways, in other news, we are having a great summer! The weather has cooled down a bit in the last couple of days, which is super nice. Eventide is growing and growing and growing! Mitchell defended his thesis a couple weeks ago and did so successfully! He is such a hard worker and I am super thankful for him.

I have some pictures to share, but in all honesty, I'm really not in the mood nor patient enough to sort through them and load them on, and if I wait around until I do, it'll be awhile before I get this updated! So keep in tune for pictures...sometime. :)
