I got a Bosch mixer!!! As soon as I could, I went to Walmart to get the ingredients to make my mom's/Grampa's scones and homemade bread. We scones with honey-butter for dinner and they were just delicious! I used the remaining dough to make rolls and 2 loaves of bread. Unfortunately, I had the oven set at the wrong temperature and overcooked the rolls, but the bread turned out good (though not nearly as good as my mom's!). Practice makes perfect though, right? I'll get it down eventually! I haven't made anything else yet with the Bosch mixer, but I have a lot of plans! :) Ill just have to wait a bit till after Memory is born!
Anyway, Eventide likes to "help" out when I'm mixing and baking. she especially loves spooning flour in to whatever I'm making. When she saw me adding ingredients to the mixing bowl, she immediately grabbed a measuring spoon out one of our drawers and dragged a chair over to me. I love it!
Of her own accord, she grabbed a bottle from the spice rack and pretended to shake some into her flour bowl. :)
Making a mess is part of the fun!
